The DAKOTA™ Series is bred from Penstemon digitalis and has the most amazing luxurious, glossy foliage and exceptionally larger flowers for this species. Dense crowns form in the spring, filling containers quickly. DAKOTA™ Burgundy has deep burgundy-purple foliage with light purple flowers and DAKOTA™ Verde has glossy, deep emerald-green foliage that is tinged purple at the edges plus light pink flowers. As summer approaches, the fat flower spikes expand and add value this uber hardy series.
